Our main community project – the Aggieland Art Trail – will soon be getting an app, thanks to Destination Bryan! Most of the work is done! We are now finalizing the prizes for participants who check off a certain number of art stops they visited.
This poster created by our own Paula Powers will be awarded to folks who visited most of the art stops.
If you missed our Fall 2024 Member Show, you only have a few more days to catch it! The last day is Saturday 9/28. Lots of great art. If you were in the show, you need to pick up your art at Degallery on Sunday, September 29 from 10am-3pm.
The submission deadline for our fall member show “Our Stories: The Power to Connect” has been extended to Wednesday, August 28th! For info and submission form, go HERE. Please don’t wait until the last minute! Art Drop-off: Monday, September 2 (2-6pm) or Wednesday, September 4 (2pm-6pm) at Degallery, 930 N Rosemary Dr., Bryan TX 77802. Our Spring 2024 Judged Show “Art in Bloom” is now over and was very successful. Many pieces sold and the artists were able to showcase their work. At last night’s closing fun reception, we presented our Most Popular Artist Awards:

Our main community project involves documenting all the public art in the Bryan-College Station area – The Aggieland Art Trail. We are now up to 102 art stops: galleries and museums, pottery, hotels, eateries, bars and a winery with indoor art, murals and sculptures. We just updated our brochure – take a look HERE and it is off to the printers.
Also, Jacqui Miller, our treasurer, and Wendy Keeney-Kennicutt, our president, wrote and received a City of Bryan’s Arts & Culture Development Grant for advertising and creating signage for stops on the art trail. They are presently applying for a renewal. It will include a Bandwango web application to create The Aggieland Art Trail on a mobile device with passports, check-ins, etc. We are excited. This entire project is great for advertising our organization and receiving sponsorships! We will keep you posted!
