I am inspired by the elusive dance between light and shadow – loving bright colors and the bold contrast of monochromes. Using a variety of mediums, including WS oils, soft pastels, watercolors and drawings mediums, my painterly realism style strives to create an interesting balance between impressionism and realism.
My choice of subjects comes from my personal ideas about beauty and those subjects that stir my soul. My goal is to inspire those who see my work to discover the beauty of the world around them and to create excitement, curiosity and even evoke recollections from the viewer.
I currently reside in Sealy, Texas and enjoy painting both in the studio and outdoors. I am a member of the Oil Painters of America, NOAPS and the Outdoor Painter’s Society.

I’ve lived in College Station for twenty years now, and this is my last semester at Blinn getting my Associates of Art in Art! I’ve painted a mural in AMCHS, some mural installations with the AMCHS art club, and I recently painted a mural in Colorado. I’ve been studying digital media, photography, and videography for the last year.

Kelsey M Siegmund is a greeting card artist who resides in College Station, TX with her husband and three kiddos. While she loves being creative with any medium, Kelsey prefers to create handmade greeting cards. She enjoys designing paper patterns and embellishments to incorporate into her elaborate cards. Those embellishments also transfer to stickers, journals and printed notecards. Honeybee Creations (her small business) can be found in four local businesses and online. Kelsey’s dream is to take her love of creating stationery and turn it into a locally owned and printed stationery shop.
